Introduction
This License & Legal Notices page explains the rights you receive when you use MySoftCredit, a web application owned and operated by Obraj, Inc. (“Obraj,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and it provides the attributions and notices for the third-party and open-source software that powers the Service.
This page is provided for clarity and transparency. The binding license grant and the full intellectual-property terms are set out in our Terms of Service, which govern your use of MySoftCredit. This page summarizes those rights and supplements them with our software attributions; if there is any conflict between this page and the Terms of Service regarding your license to use the Service, the Terms of Service control. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
License Granted to You
Subject to your compliance with the Terms of Service and this notice, Obraj grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use MySoftCredit for your own personal, non-commercial purposes — specifically, to view and review your own credit information for the duration of your authorized access period. This license is a permission to use the Service; it does not transfer any ownership of MySoftCredit or its content to you.
- Personal use only: The license permits you to view your TransUnion credit report through the MySoftCredit interface and, where the feature is available, to download or print a copy for your own personal records.
- Tied to your authorized access: The license is granted only to authorized users who reach MySoftCredit through the secure link provided in the aria.mortgage app, and only for the limited access period described in the Terms of Service.
- No other rights: No license or right is granted to you except as expressly stated here and in the Terms of Service. Obraj and its licensors reserve all rights not expressly granted.
Your credit report data itself is your personal information and is provided to you for your personal use. The license described in this section relates to the MySoftCredit software, interface, and content — not to the underlying credit data, which is sourced from TransUnion as described below.
Ownership and Proprietary Rights
All content, software, and materials made available on or through MySoftCredit — including, without limitation, the application and website design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, page layouts, the selection and arrangement of materials, and the underlying source code and technology used to provide the Service (collectively, the “Content”) — are the property of Obraj, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. The only exception is your personal credit report data obtained from TransUnion, which is your own personal information.
Except for the limited license expressly granted above, nothing on this page or in the Service transfers to you any right, title, or interest in the Content. Obraj and its licensors retain all such rights.
Restrictions on Use
Except to the limited extent expressly permitted by the Terms of Service or by applicable law that cannot be contractually overridden, you agree that you will not:
- Copy or redistribute the Service or its Content, or reproduce, republish, distribute, display, or publicly perform any part of MySoftCredit, other than the personal use of your own credit report data permitted above.
- Create derivative works from, modify, or adapt any part of the Service or its Content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, or attempt to derive its source code, underlying ideas, or algorithms, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service, its Content, or your access, or use it to provide a service to any third party.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice displayed on or generated by the Service.
- Use automated means (such as bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access, query, or extract data from MySoftCredit, or otherwise circumvent its security or access controls.
Trademarks
“MySoftCredit,” the MySoftCredit logo, and other Obraj or MySoftCredit names, logos, and service marks are trademarks or service marks of Obraj, Inc., all rights reserved. aria.mortgage and aria.associates are brand names/trademarks used in connection with services provided by Obraj, Inc. and its affiliates, while aria.credit is a brand name/trademark used in connection with services provided by Rentie, Inc. and its affiliates.
TransUnion® is a registered trademark of TransUnion LLC. Array and other third-party product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Reference to any third-party trademark does not imply endorsement.
Nothing on this page or in the Service grants you any right or license to use the name “MySoftCredit,” “aria.mortgage,” “aria.credit,” “aria.associates,” or any trademark of Obraj, Inc., Rentie, Inc., TransUnion, or any other third party, without the prior written permission of the trademark owner.
Third-Party and Open-Source Software
MySoftCredit is built using a number of third-party and open-source software components. We are grateful to the open-source community and acknowledge these components here. Each such component is the property of its respective authors and is made available under its own license (for example, the MIT License, the ISC License, the Apache License 2.0, a BSD license, or the Mozilla Public License). Those licenses, and the rights and disclaimers they contain, govern your and our use of the corresponding component. Copies of the applicable licenses accompany each component in its source distribution and are available from the respective project or from us on request.
The principal open-source components used in MySoftCredit include:
- Core framework and UI: Next.js, React and React DOM, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS (with tailwind-merge and tailwindcss-animate), Radix UI primitives, and Floating UI.
- Animation and icons: Framer Motion (motion) and Lucide icons.
- Forms, validation, and state: React Hook Form (with @hookform/resolvers), Zod, Zustand, clsx, and class-variance-authority.
- Data, tables, charts, and dates: TanStack React Table, Recharts, date-fns, and React Day Picker.
- Utilities and integrations: jose (token signing), Sonner (notifications), Embla Carousel, libphonenumber-js and react-phone-number-input, next-themes, Nodemailer, and the Supabase client libraries (@supabase/ssr).
The above list is provided for attribution and may not be exhaustive; the components and their versions may change as the Service evolves. Each third-party and open-source component is provided by its authors “as is” and is subject to the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations in its own license and in our Terms of Service. Obraj does not own these components and makes no representation or warranty regarding them beyond what is stated in the Terms of Service. Third-Party Credit Data (TransUnion)
The credit report information displayed in MySoftCredit is sourced from TransUnion through our authorized credit and identity-verification partners. That data is compiled by TransUnion and is provided to you for your personal review; it is considered your personal information and may also be subject to TransUnion's own terms when provided to you.
TransUnion retains ownership of its proprietary scoring models and related intellectual property. Any TransUnion-provided materials (such as score factors and explanations) are used under license for display to you and remain the property of TransUnion or the respective owner. Obraj does not create, alter, or guarantee the accuracy of the content of your credit report, and you should address any disputes or corrections directly with TransUnion or the relevant creditor, as further described in our Terms of Service.
Third-Party Services
MySoftCredit relies on certain third-party service providers to operate — for example, our authentication and database platform (Supabase), our credit and identity-verification partners (including services that work with TransUnion through the Array platform), email delivery services, and hosting infrastructure. Your use of any feature that depends on a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's own terms and licenses. Obraj does not grant you any rights in those third-party services beyond your permitted use of MySoftCredit, and each provider remains responsible for its own services. Please review our Privacy Policy for more detail on how data is shared with these providers.
Feedback
If you choose to provide Obraj with any suggestions, ideas, enhancement requests, or other feedback about MySoftCredit, you agree that Obraj is free to use, implement, and exploit such feedback without restriction and without any obligation to you. Any feedback you provide is given voluntarily, and Obraj may use it to improve the Service without acknowledgment or compensation.
No Warranty for Third-Party and Open-Source Components
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the third-party and open-source components, third-party services, and third-party data referenced on this page are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. The applicable warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in our Terms of Service, and in the respective third-party or open-source licenses, apply to your use of those components, services, and data. Obraj is not responsible for the acts, omissions, content, or data of any third party.
Termination of the License
The license granted to you on this page is time-limited and conditional. It terminates automatically, without notice, upon the earliest of: the end of your authorized access period; the deactivation of your account (whether initiated by you or by Obraj, including a deactivation by Obraj at its sole discretion as described in the Terms of Service); or your breach of the Terms of Service or this notice.
Upon termination, your right to access and use MySoftCredit and its Content ceases immediately, and you must stop using the Service. Following deactivation, your credit report information and related data are handled as described in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy — including removal of credit report information within ninety (90) days of deactivation. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, trademarks, restrictions, disclaimers, and the third-party notices on this page) will survive.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this License & Legal Notices page from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, our software components, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of MySoftCredit after an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated notice, to the extent it affects the license granted to you. The binding terms remain those set out in the Terms of Service.
