MySoftCredit Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to MySoftCredit, a web application owned and operated by Obraj, Inc. (“Obraj,” “we,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MySoftCredit service (the “Service”). By accessing or using MySoftCredit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use MySoftCredit.
This Service is offered exclusively to users of the aria.mortgage mobile application (“aria.mortgage App”) who are redirected to MySoftCredit via a secure, encrypted URL. If you are not a registered user of the aria.mortgage App with a valid redirect link, you are not authorized to access or register for MySoftCredit. Use of MySoftCredit is also subject to our Privacy Policy (which describes how we handle your data) and any other policies referenced in these Terms.
Eligibility and Authorized Use
To use MySoftCredit, you must meet all of the following eligibility criteria and usage conditions:
- Authorized aria.mortgage User: You must be a legitimate user of the aria.mortgage App and access MySoftCredit through the secure link provided within that app. The Service is not available to the general public and no independent sign-up is permitted. Any attempt to access MySoftCredit without proper authorization from the aria.mortgage App is prohibited.
- Age and Capacity: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering into a binding contract. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
- Personal Use Only: MySoftCredit is offered for your personal, non-commercial use to view your own credit information. You agree not to use the service to obtain information about anyone else or for any commercial purpose.
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as required for identity verification and service access. Misrepresentation of your identity or personal data is strictly prohibited.
- Compliance with Laws: You will use MySoftCredit in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not use the Service in any manner that would cause Obraj or any other party to be in violation of any law or regulation.
If you do not meet these requirements (for example, if you are not an aria.mortgage App user, or you provide false information), Obraj reserves the right to terminate or deny you access to the Service.
Description of the Service
MySoftCredit provides you with free access to your personal credit report information from TransUnion for a limited period of time. Upon successful identity verification (see Identity Verification below), you will be able to view your TransUnion credit report and related credit details through the MySoftCredit web application. Key aspects of the Service include:
- Free Credit Report Access: You will not be charged any fees for using MySoftCredit. The Service is provided entirely free of cost to you as a benefit for aria.mortgage App users. Obraj (or its partners) will facilitate retrieval of your credit report from TransUnion at no charge to you.
- Four-Weeks Access Period: Access to your credit report via MySoftCredit is available for up to twenty eight (28) days from the date you first gain access (“Access Period”). After this period, your access to the Service will expire automatically. MySoftCredit is intended as a one-time or short-term service; it is not a recurring or continuous credit monitoring service. If you attempt to use the Service beyond the 28-days window, you may be denied access unless otherwise permitted by Obraj in writing.
- Read-Only Information: The credit report and score information provided are for your personal review and understanding of your credit status. MySoftCredit does not allow you to modify your TransUnion credit file through the Service. (For example, if you find an inaccuracy on your report, you will need to contact TransUnion or the creditor to dispute it; MySoftCredit itself does not handle disputes or corrections.)
- No Advice or Endorsement: The information displayed (such as your credit score and report data) is provided for informational purposes only. Obraj is not providing financial, legal, or credit advice through MySoftCredit. We do not guarantee any particular outcome (such as loan approval or credit score improvement) from your use of the Service. Always consult a qualified professional for financial advice if needed.
Obraj reserves the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. Because MySoftCredit is a complimentary service with a limited duration, Obraj may decide to end the offering or replace it with other services in the future (see Future Services below). We will endeavor to notify users of any material changes or the discontinuation of the Service, but we shall not be liable if we modify or end the Service as permitted under these Terms.
Account Registration and Security
Access to MySoftCredit may require you to authenticate your identity and possibly register an account linked to your aria.mortgage App credentials:
- Secure Redirect: Typically, you will reach MySoftCredit by clicking a secure, encrypted link in the aria.mortgage App, which will direct you to the MySoftCredit site. This process helps ensure that only authorized users access the Service. Do not share or attempt to reuse secure links—each link is personalized for your access only.
- Account Credentials: You may be prompted to create login credentials (such as a password) for MySoftCredit or use your aria.mortgage account credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login ID, password, or other credentials used for MySoftCredit. Do not share your credentials with anyone. You agree to notify Obraj immediately at our contact email (provided at the end of these Terms) if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
- Account Security: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your MySoftCredit account or via your secure link. Obraj is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account resulting from your failure to secure your credentials. We urge you to use a strong password and to log out and close your browser after accessing the Service, especially on a shared or public device.
- Session Management and Logout Responsibility: MySoftCredit uses cookies to maintain your login session, allowing you to remain logged in until you manually log out or your 28-days access period expires. You are solely responsible for managing your account session and logging out when using shared, public, or unsecured devices. This includes computers at libraries, internet cafes, shared workstations, or any device that others may access. MySoftCredit and Obraj, Inc. will not be held liable for any unauthorized access, misuse, or compromise of your account that results from your failure to log out or secure your session on any device. We strongly recommend logging out immediately after each session and never saving your login credentials on shared or public computers. Your failure to properly secure your account session constitutes negligence on your part, and you assume full responsibility for any consequences arising from unauthorized account access due to such negligence.
- One Account Limit: You are only permitted to maintain a single MySoftCredit account or access. Because the Service is tied to your aria.mortgage App usage, you should not attempt to create multiple accounts or use multiple identities to obtain additional credit reports beyond what is allowed. Any such attempts may result in termination of all your access rights.
- Identity Verification: During your first use of MySoftCredit, and possibly at other times for security, you will undergo an identity verification process (see Third-Party Services and Identity Verification). You agree to follow the steps required for verification and provide any requested information truthfully. If your identity cannot be verified, we may deny or terminate access to the service for your protection.
By registering or using an account on MySoftCredit, you agree to the above conditions. Obraj reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access if we have reason to believe that your account security has been compromised or that you have violated any of these Terms.
Third-Party Services and Data Sources
MySoftCredit relies on certain third-party service providers and data sources to function. By using MySoftCredit, you acknowledge and agree to the following with respect to third-party services:
- TransUnion Credit Data: The credit report information provided through MySoftCredit is sourced from TransUnion, a major credit reporting agency. MySoftCredit retrieves your TransUnion credit file (which may include your credit score, payment history, account information, and other credit-related data) on your behalf. Obraj does not create, alter, or guarantee the accuracy of the content in your credit report. That information is compiled by TransUnion from various creditors and sources. While we strive to retrieve the latest available data, there may be delays or omissions. We disclaim any responsibility for errors or inaccuracies in the credit report data, and you should address any disputes or corrections directly with TransUnion or the relevant creditor. The TransUnion credit report provided is for your personal review and may not contain all information that a full credit report would (for example, it might exclude certain proprietary scores or data). TransUnion® is a registered trademark of TransUnion LLC. Neither Obraj nor MySoftCredit is directly affiliated with or endorsed by TransUnion, aside from our contractual arrangement to access your credit information.
- Identity Verification Providers: Before displaying your credit report, MySoftCredit will confirm your identity using third-party identity verification services. These may include services that verify personal data (such as your Social Security Number, date of birth, or phone number), present knowledge-based authentication questions, or utilize other verification methods (for example, one-time passcodes, document upload, or biometric verification) provided by external vendors. By using MySoftCredit, you consent to Obraj sharing the necessary personal information with these third-party verification providers solely for the purpose of verifying your identity and preventing fraud. We carefully select reputable partners, but Obraj makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the services provided by these third parties. Any delays, failures, or inaccuracies in the identity verification process are outside of Obraj's direct control. Obraj is not liable for any inability to access the Service if a third-party verification service cannot verify your identity. (If you believe you have been wrongly denied access due to verification issues, please contact us for assistance.)
- Other Third-Party Tools: MySoftCredit may incorporate or link to other third-party software, analytics tools, or services (for example, for website performance, email or text communications, or customer support). Any third-party software or service used in MySoftCredit is provided to you under the terms and licenses of the respective third party. We do not guarantee the continuous availability or flawless integration of any third-party services.
- No Endorsement: References or links in MySoftCredit to third-party services (including the aria.mortgage mobile app or third party service named aria.credit service provided by Rentie, Inc.) are provided for convenience and information. This does not constitute an endorsement or approval by Obraj of those third parties or their content. If you navigate to any third-party website or service from MySoftCredit, you do so at your own risk and should review the terms and policies of those third parties.
In summary, while MySoftCredit brings together services and data from multiple parties to serve you, each provider remains responsible for its own services or data. Obraj provides no independent guarantee of third-party content (including your TransUnion credit data or verification results). If you encounter issues arising from third-party data or services, we will attempt to facilitate a resolution, but we disclaim liability beyond what is provided in these Terms.
Privacy and Data Use
Protecting your personal information is very important to Obraj. Because MySoftCredit deals with sensitive credit and identity data, we have implemented policies to safeguard your privacy. The key points regarding data use and retention are:
- Limited Data Retention: Obraj, Inc. will not store your sensitive personal data (such as your Social Security Number or other government-issued identifiers or Date of Birth) to provide the MySoftCredit Service. In general, any highly sensitive data collected for identity verification will be used for that process and then deleted or securely anonymized within ninety (90) days of collection, unless a longer retention period is required by law or expressly permitted by you. We aim to retain your credit report data and personal information only as long as needed to fulfill the Service (for example, for the 28-days access period and a short backup or audit period thereafter). After that, such data will be securely erased from our systems or archived in a manner consistent with applicable data protection laws.
- Data Sharing with Third-Party Services: We will not share your credit report or personal information with third-party services unless you explicitly consent to such sharing. MySoftCredit may present you with an option to forward or export information (such as your credit score or report summary) to the aria.mortgage App or an aria.mortgage partner to assist in self calculating your monthly payment. This will only happen if you take an affirmative action (for example, clicking a button “Share Credit Report” to share with aria.mortgage app by also giving your consent within MySoftCredit). If you do consent to share data with third-party services, you acknowledge that once transferred, your data will be handled under those services' own privacy policies and terms, and not by Obraj, Inc. Obraj, Inc. is not responsible for any use or disclosure of your information by third-party services after you have consented to share it (If you have concerns about how aria.mortgage uses your credit information, please refer to aria.associates's privacy notices or contact aria.associates's support.)
- No Unnecessary Selling or Marketing: Obraj will not sell your personal information to third-party marketers. Because MySoftCredit is provided as a courtesy to aria.mortgage users, your data is primarily used to deliver the credit report service. We may use anonymized or aggregated data for analytics to improve our services, but this data will not identify you personally.
- Security Measures: We employ industry-standard security measures (encryption, secure protocols, access controls, etc.) to protect the personal information processed through MySoftCredit. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You acknowledge that any information you submit or receive via MySoftCredit is at your own risk, and Obraj cannot guarantee absolute security. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will comply with applicable notification laws and take appropriate steps to remediate.
- Cookies and Tracking: MySoftCredit may use cookies or similar technologies to ensure the Service functions correctly (for example, to maintain your session after login or to remember your preferences). For more details, please see our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our use of cookies and similar technologies for these purposes.
For a full understanding of how Obraj collects, uses, and protects personal data, please review our Privacy Policy (accessible through the MySoftCredit interface or Obraj's website). By using MySoftCredit, you also agree to the practices described in that Privacy Policy. If there is any conflict between this Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy regarding your data, the Privacy Policy will govern how we handle your personal information, while these Terms govern your use of the Service.
User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
When using MySoftCredit, you agree to conduct yourself responsibly and to refrain from any misuse of the Service. You are solely responsible for your own actions on the platform. By accessing MySoftCredit, you expressly agree that you will not:
- Share or Allow Unauthorized Access to Your Account: You will not permit any other person to use your MySoftCredit access or account. The credit report provided is uniquely tied to your identity; you must not attempt to view or obtain credit information for someone else. You also agree not to share your secure link or login credentials with others, and not to impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Provide False or Misleading Information: You will not input false, fraudulent, or misleading information into MySoftCredit or the identity verification process. This includes attempting to use a stolen identity or someone else's personal information to pass verification or retrieve a credit report. Such conduct is not only a breach of these Terms but may also be illegal.
- Circumvent Security or Restrictions: You will not attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features of MySoftCredit. This includes not attempting to hack the Service, introduce malware or harmful code, or use any automated system (such as bots, scripts, or scrapers) to access, query, or extract data from MySoftCredit. You agree not to attempt to obtain multiple credit reports or extend your access beyond the 28-days limit by any means such as creating fake accounts or using anonymization tools to dodge our access controls.
- Misuse the Data or Service: You will not use information from MySoftCredit for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could harm or exploit someone. Examples of prohibited misuse include: using your credit report from MySoftCredit to conduct identity theft or fraud, using the Service to harass or defraud Obraj or third parties, or reselling or distributing your credit report data to third parties. The credit report is provided for your personal use only -- you should not publish it or use it in a manner not intended by the Service.
- Interfere with Service Operations: You will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure or that interferes with the proper working of MySoftCredit. This includes any form of denial-of-service (DoS) attack, spamming, or exploitation of software vulnerabilities. Additionally, you agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service, nor attempt to derive the source code or underlying algorithms (except to the limited extent such actions are expressly permitted by law notwithstanding this limitation).
- Engage in Prohibited Conduct: You will not use MySoftCredit to transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable. While MySoftCredit does not involve user-generated content beyond your personal details, you must still refrain from any abuse of any communication channels (for example, if you contact support, you must not engage in harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate behavior towards our staff or agents).
If you violate any of the above rules or any other provision of these Terms, Obraj reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to MySoftCredit immediately and, if warranted, to take legal action or cooperate with law enforcement. You understand that unauthorized use of the Service (such as attempting to access others' data or hacking) may result in civil, legal, or criminal penalties under applicable laws.
Your compliance with the above standards is a condition of continued access to MySoftCredit. We encourage you to use the Service responsibly and contact us if you observe any security issues or misuse. By using MySoftCredit, you agree that you will abide by all applicable laws and regulations and by the terms of this Acceptable Use policy.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content, software, and materials available on or through MySoftCredit (except for the personal credit report data obtained from TransUnion, which is your personal information) are the intellectual property of Obraj, Inc. or its licensors. This includes, without limitation, the website/application design, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, compilations of data (excluding the TransUnion report content), and the underlying software and technology used to provide the Service (collectively, the “ Content”). The selection, arrangement, and presentation of all materials in MySoftCredit are also protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Specific acknowledgments and rights:
- License to You: Obraj grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to access and use MySoftCredit and its Content for your own personal credit information purposes, in accordance with these Terms. This license allows you to view your TransUnion credit report through the interface and, if available, download or print a copy for your personal records. No other use of the Content is authorized. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, reverse-engineer, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any portion of MySoftCredit or its Content without express prior written permission from Obraj.
- Trademarks: “MySoftCredit,” the MySoftCredit logo, and any other Obraj or MySoftCredit graphics or service names are trademarks or service marks of Obraj, Inc. All rights in these marks are reserved. Additionally, aria.mortgage and aria.associates are brand names/trademarks, where aria.mortgage is a brand name/trademark used in connection with services provided by (Obraj, Inc. and its affiliates), whereas aria.credit is a brand name/trademark used in connection with services provided by (Rentie, Inc. and its affiliates). Nothing in these Terms grants you any license or right to use the name “MySoftCredit”, “aria.mortgage”, “aria.credit”, “aria.associates” or any trademarks of Obraj, Inc.; Rentie, Inc.; or other third parties. You agree not to use Obraj's or any partner's trademarks or branding without permission, including not to remove or alter any trademark, logo, copyright, or other proprietary notices on the MySoftCredit interface or outputs.
- TransUnion Content: The credit report data provided via MySoftCredit is derived from your TransUnion credit file. That data is considered your personal information, and also may be subject to TransUnion's own terms of use when provided to you. You are authorized to use your credit report data for personal purposes (for example, to review your credit history, credit score and use it for personal use as you see fit). However, you should not republish or sell that data. TransUnion retains ownership of proprietary scoring models and other intellectual property associated with your credit report. Any TransUnion-provided materials (like credit score factors, explanations, etc.) are used under license for display to you and remain the property of TransUnion or the respective owner.
- Feedback: If you provide Obraj with any suggestions, ideas, enhancement requests, or other feedback about MySoftCredit or related services, you agree that Obraj is free to use and implement such feedback without restriction or obligation to you. Any such feedback is provided entirely voluntarily by you and may be used by us to improve our offerings.
Please respect all intellectual property rights associated with MySoftCredit. Unauthorized use of the Content or Service may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. Obraj and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms. If you become aware of any infringement or misuse of MySoftCredit's intellectual property, please contact us to report it.
Disclaimers of Warranties
MySoftCredit is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Obraj, Inc. disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or any warranty that the Service will meet your needs or expectations.
Key disclaimers:
- No Guarantee of Accuracy or Continuity: While we strive to provide you with accurate and up-to-date credit information, Obraj does not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed via MySoftCredit. The credit report data comes from TransUnion and possibly other third-party sources. There may be delays in updates or errors in the data that are outside of our control. You should not rely solely on MySoftCredit for making important decisions. For instance, a lender's credit decision might be based on a more recent report or different data; MySoftCredit is for your personal insight and is not an official credit report for lending purposes (such as those obtained directly from a bureau during a loan application). Always verify critical information through official channels.
- Service Availability: Obraj does not warrant that MySoftCredit will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee that access will always be available or that the Service will be free from viruses or other harmful components. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or failures of our third-party providers (TransUnion, identity verification services, hosting providers, etc.) may interrupt or affect the Service. You assume the risk for any inability to access the Service or any loss of data that may result from software bugs, technical glitches, or other system issues.
- No Financial or Legal Advice: MySoftCredit provides credit information, but we are not a financial advisor, credit counseling service, or legal advisor. The Service's content (including your credit report, score, and any explanations) is for informational purposes to help you understand your credit standing. It should not be construed as personalized financial advice or a recommendation about credit decisions. Obraj does not guarantee that any specific outcome will result from your use of the Service (for example, using MySoftCredit will not automatically improve your credit score, nor ensure you qualify for a loan). You are solely responsible for any actions you take based on the information from the Service.
- Third-Party Content and Services: Any third-party content or services accessed through MySoftCredit (including those of TransUnion, identity verification questions, or links to aria.mortgage) are provided “as is” as well. Obraj is not responsible for and does not warrant any information or services provided by third parties. We make no guarantees regarding the results of any identity verification process or the availability or accuracy of TransUnion's systems. Additionally, if MySoftCredit displays any credit score or credit factor information, understand that credit scores may vary across different models and providers; the score you see is specific to the model and date provided and is not guaranteed to match scores a lender or another service might retrieve.
- Disclaimer of Liability for Acts of Others: Obraj is not liable for any conduct, actions, or data breaches of third parties, including aria.mortgage or Rentie, Inc., TransUnion, identity verification vendors, or other users (to the extent any interaction occurs). If you choose to share your MySoftCredit information with third parties (such as aria.mortgage, by consent), any consequences of that sharing are outside of Obraj's control and are your own responsibility.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. If applicable law prohibits certain disclaimers, those disclaimers may not apply to you to the extent disallowed. However, in such case, the rest of the disclaimers shall still apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You acknowledge that use of MySoftCredit is at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for any risk of loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any information provided. No advice or information (whether oral or written) obtained from Obraj or through MySoftCredit shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Obraj, Inc. and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and licensors (collectively, “Obraj Parties”) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to use) MySoftCredit or any content therein. This includes, without limitation, any damages for lost profits, lost savings or revenues, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or any other intangible losses, even if a representative of an Obraj Party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In particular, and without limiting the above, Obraj will not be liable for:
- Any errors or inaccuracies in the credit report information or other content provided by the Service;
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein, unless caused solely by our gross negligence or willful misconduct;
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service, and any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Service by any third party;
- Any actions taken by you based on the information provided through MySoftCredit (such as decisions about applying for credit or other financial decisions);
- Any use or misuse of your information by aria.mortgage or other third parties to whom you voluntarily provided data (with consent via the Service).
Monetary Cap: In no event shall the total aggregate liability of the Obraj Parties for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service, these Terms, or your use of MySoftCredit exceed the amount of fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50.00) or the equivalent in local currency. Because the Service is provided to you free of charge, this limitation is intended to reflect the agreed allocation of risk between you and us. This cap on liability applies whether the claims are based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, breach of warranty, or any other legal theory.
Exceptions: Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If any exclusion of warranties or limitation of liability is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, then, in such jurisdictions, the liability of Obraj Parties shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. However, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded under law (for example, certain statutory liabilities or liabilities for intentional misconduct may not be limited).
By using MySoftCredit, you agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of your use of the Service must be brought within one (1) year after the event giving rise to the claim; otherwise, such claim or cause of action is permanently barred. This limitations section is a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain between you and Obraj. The Service would not be provided to you without such disclaimers and limitations.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Obraj, Inc., its affiliates (including Rentie, Inc. to the extent it is involved in providing aria.mortgage or related services), and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “ Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) that arise out of or relate to:
- Your Violation of these Terms: Any breach by you of any provision of these Terms of Service, including any of the representations, warranties, or covenants you have made herein.
- Your Use of the Service: Your use or misuse of MySoftCredit, including any actions you take based on information obtained through the Service, or any data or content you submit through the Service.
- Illegal or Unauthorized Activities: Any fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, or illegal activity by you in connection with your use of MySoftCredit. This includes any use of someone else's identity or information, or any attempt to gain unauthorized information or to harm our systems.
- Your Violation of Rights of Others: Any claim that your use of MySoftCredit (or any content or information you obtain via the Service) has violated the privacy, intellectual property, or other rights of any third party, or has caused harm to a third party.
Obraj reserves the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. If we do so, you agree that you will cooperate with our defense of such claim as reasonably requested. You agree not to settle any such matter without the prior written consent of Obraj. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any claim or demand that is subject to your indemnification obligation as soon as we become aware of it.
This indemnification provision means you will reimburse the Indemnified Parties for any losses or costs (including legal fees) they incur because of your actions or omissions that breach these Terms or applicable law. Your indemnification obligations will survive any termination of your relationship with Obraj or your use of MySoftCredit.
Termination of Service
MySoftCredit access is inherently time-limited to 28 days for each authorized user, but these Terms also govern circumstances under which we may terminate or suspend your access sooner:
- User-Initiated Termination: You are free to stop using MySoftCredit at any time. If you wish to terminate your access before the 28-days period ends (for instance, if you have security concerns or no longer want to use the service), you may simply delete your account via using account settings web page to discontinue use. You may also contact us to request closure or deletion of any account credentials we have on file for you. Note that even if you stop using the Service, these Terms will remain applicable to any past usage, and certain provisions (such as disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive according to their terms.
- Obraj-Initiated Suspension/Termination: Obraj may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate your access to MySoftCredit at any time with or without prior notice if we believe you have violated any provision of these Terms or pose any security or legal risk. For example, if we detect fraudulent activity, unauthorized attempts to access data, or any other misuse, we may immediately revoke your access. Additionally, if required by law enforcement or pursuant to a legal request, we might terminate your access without notice.
- Service Discontinuation: As MySoftCredit is a complimentary service, Obraj reserves the right to discontinue or wind down the Service entirely at any time. If we decide to end the MySoftCredit program (for example, due to the introduction of a new service or changing business needs), we will make reasonable efforts to inform active users (such as via the aria.mortgage App or email) and, if feasible, allow those in their 28-days access period to complete their usage. However, there may be circumstances (such as loss of third-party data access, security incidents, or other urgent situations) where the Service must be shut down immediately.
- Effect of Termination: Upon any termination of your access, whether initiated by you or by Obraj, your rights to use MySoftCredit will cease immediately. You will no longer be authorized to view your credit report through the Service. We may delete or deactivate your account credentials, and you will not be able to retrieve any data you have stored through the online interface. It is your responsibility to save or print any reports or information you wish to keep before the end of your access period or termination of Service. (Note: Your actual TransUnion credit file remains with TransUnion; you can always request a copy directly from TransUnion in the future under federal law, even if MySoftCredit access is gone.)
- Surviving Terms: Even after termination of the Service or your access, certain provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. This includes (but is not limited to) sections on Disclaimers of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Intellectual Property, Governing Law, and Dispute Resolution, as well as any other clauses that by their nature should survive termination.
Termination of the Service or your access to it will not waive or affect any rights or liabilities that may have arisen prior to or at the time of termination. If your access was terminated due to a violation of these Terms, you may not create a new account or attempt to access MySoftCredit again without our express permission.
Account Deactivation and Data Retention
Your MySoftCredit account, and the information associated with it, will remain with us only for as long as your account stays active and in good standing within your applicable Access Period. Your account, and your continued access to the Service, may be deactivated in either of the following ways:
- Deactivation by You: You may deactivate your MySoftCredit account at any time through the account settings page within the Service. Deactivation is permanent and, once initiated, generally cannot be reversed. Because MySoftCredit accounts are limited to a single, one-time use, a deactivated account cannot be reactivated, restored, or re-registered, and any access you had to your credit report through the Service will end immediately.
- Deactivation by Obraj: Obraj, Inc. reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend, deactivate, restrict, or terminate your account and your access to the Service at any time, with or without prior notice, and without any obligation to provide you a reason, justification, or explanation for such action. Such deactivation may occur for reasons including, but not limited to, expiry of your Access Period, suspected or actual violation of these Terms, security, fraud, or compliance concerns, requirements of law or third-party data providers, or ordinary administrative and business decisions made at our discretion. You agree that Obraj and the Obraj Parties shall have no liability to you or to any third party for any suspension or deactivation of your account, or for any resulting loss of access to the Service or to any information made available through it.
- Removal of Your Data Following Deactivation: Upon deactivation of your account (whether initiated by you or by Obraj), your access to the Service ends immediately. Following deactivation, your credit report information and related credit data will be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise rendered permanently inaccessible within ninety (90) days, and your remaining account-related data will be deleted or de-identified thereafter, except where a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, to comply with legal, tax, audit, or regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce our agreements). Residual copies may persist temporarily in secure backups and will be purged in the ordinary course according to our backup retention schedule.
- Your Responsibility to Save Information: It is your responsibility to download, save, or print any credit report or other information you wish to retain before you deactivate your account or before the end of your Access Period. After deactivation, such information will no longer be available to you through the Service, and we are under no obligation to provide, recover, or restore it.
Because the Service is provided to you free of charge and on a limited, one-time basis, the foregoing deactivation rights and data-removal practices form part of the agreed allocation of risk and responsibility between you and Obraj. Your underlying TransUnion credit file is maintained by TransUnion independently of MySoftCredit and is not affected by the deactivation of your MySoftCredit account; you may request a copy of your credit file directly from TransUnion at any time as permitted by law. This section operates together with, and does not limit, the Termination of Service and Privacy and Data Use sections of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Related Services and Third-Party Offerings
For clarity and transparency, we note that there are related services in the broader ecosystem that users may encounter:
- aria.credit Service: You may have heard of or been informed about a service called “aria.credit” This service is owned and operated by Rentie, Inc. and offers extended credit monitoring and credit-building tools. Please be aware that aria.credit is a separate service that is not provided by Obraj, Inc. and is not affiliated with MySoftCredit.
- No Coverage Under These Terms: Because aria.credit is operated by a different entity (Rentie, Inc.), any use of such a service will be governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy, distinct from the MySoftCredit Terms. These MySoftCredit Terms of Service apply only to the MySoftCredit web application and services provided by Obraj, Inc.

No Waiver: Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver by Obraj of any breach of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent or other breach.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of Obraj. Any attempted assignment by you in violation of this provision is null and void. Obraj, Inc. may freely assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to any third party, in whole or in part, without notice to you. (For example, we might assign these Terms in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or to an affiliate such as Rentie, Inc. if appropriate.) These Terms will be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.
Relationship of Parties: These Terms do not create any joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and Obraj, Inc. You are accessing MySoftCredit as an independent, end-user beneficiary of the Service. Neither party has the authority to bind the other or to incur any obligations on the other's behalf.
Headings: The section titles and headings in these Terms are for convenience and organizational purposes only and have no legal or contractual effect. They shall not limit or affect any provisions of these Terms or their interpretation.
Force Majeure: Obraj shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, strikes or labor disputes, pandemic, utility failures, outages of third-party networks or services (including Internet or credit bureau outages), or other similar events.
By agreeing to these Terms and using MySoftCredit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all the above provisions. These Terms create legal obligations on you, so please keep a copy for your records and refer to them as needed.
